Council
Meetings
Council
meetings are held at the town office on the second and
fourth Tuesday of every month. Meetings begin at 7:30
PM and are open to the public. Delegations are welcome
and can be arranged by following the instructions listed
under Delegations to Council Meetings below.

Minutes
of council meetings will be posted approximately 3-4
days following their approval. Minutes from a council
meeting are either approved or revised at the following
council meeting. These minutes can be accessed below:

to Council Meetings
Delegations
to council meetings are welcome and encouraged. In order
to ensure delegations are accommodated and the issues
are addressed appropriately by council the following
procedure has been approved by council.
Application
Procedure
· A written request must be received by the town
administrator by 12 noon the Thursday of the week prior
to the meeting. Council will accept no more than two
delegations per regular council meeting.
· The application must include the topic that
the delegation will be addressing and the name of the
key spokesperson.
· The application will include an estimate of
the time required for the presentation, however council
reserves the right to approve the amount of time allotted
to each delegation.
· The application will include a written overview
of the content of the presentation.

Meeting Presentation
· The key spokesperson will make the presentation.
· The key spokesperson will direct questions
to council chair or to a council member of choice.
· The key spokesperson in conclusion will provide
a brief summary of the purpose of the delegation and
any request made of Council.
Discussion
· Council may direct questions to the key spokesperson
to more clearly understand the intent of the delegation
and to aid in decision-making. The key spokesperson
may ask delegation members to assist in providing additional
information.

Beach Water Treatment Plant
Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund (MRIF) funding:
$500,000; Project cost: $2,161,200
The Town of Regina Beach is modifying its existing wells
and constructing a water treatment plant to meet expected
water demands. This project will also involve an elevated
treatment storage reservoir for plants and water distribution
as well as additional distribution delivery improvements.

Garbage Pickup
West of Centre St. - Mondays
East of Centre St. - Tuesdays
Domestic garbage collection day begins at 7:00 a.m. and may be collected any time during that working day
If a long weekend, the collection day moves to the next day. Garbage is to be kept in an enclosed box or can, fly-proof and water-tight container. A maximum of 4 garbage bags are allowed, being of no more than 35 lbs in weight. Removal of brush and bulk refuse shall be the responsibility of the landowner for disposal at the waste management site. Brush piles shall not be permitted to accumulate for any longer than two weeks at a time.

Industry
Canada's Community Access Program (CAP) gives thousands
of Canadians affordable access to the Internet in places
like schools, community centres and libraries. It provides
access to those people who might not have computers
or Internet access in their homes or workplaces.
South
Shore Elementary School CAP Site
The
school currently has 37 online computers. Every student
has access to the internet, quite an accomplishment
for a rural school. After school programs are posted,
clubs etc..

There
are 2 on-line computers for public access.

Water on/off services are done by the town staff Monday to Friday. Contact the Town Office 1 day prior to water turn on or off date.

Water
Restrictions
We
are fortunate. We have a better water supply than most
towns in southern Saskatchewan, but we must control
its use. The water regulations apply all year:
Properties
bearing ODD NUMBER civic addresses shall water
ONLY on odd numbered days of the month (i.e.
5th, 7th, 9th etc) from 6:00 am to 9:00 am OR
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Properties
bearing EVEN NUMBER civic addresses shall water
ONLY on even numbered days of the month (i.e.
4th, 6th, 8th etc) from 6:00 am to 9:00 am OR
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
NOTE:
Outdoor watering also pertains to car washing.
Anyone
watering other than in the hours specified will be fined:
First offence - $20.00,
Second offence - $50.00, and
Third and subsequent offences - $100.00.
The
Town Bylaw Enforcement Officer will be enforcing these
restrictions.

and post-dated cheques. Telephone/internet banking is
