Joining the Provincial Initiative
Saskatchewan
in motion is a province-wide movement aimed at increasing
physical activity for health benefits. Our vision is
that the people of Saskatchewan will be the healthiest,
most physically active in Canada.
In
motion is designed to blend provincial, regional and
local resources together with those of community leadership
to increase physical activity for health benefits where
we live, learn, work and play.
Getting
more physically active can change your life. You'll
feel more energetic, less stressed, sleep better and
feel more relaxed, have stronger muscles and bones,
better health, and more independence in later life.
It
is never too late to integrate physical activity into
your life. Even moderate levels of physical activity
can achieve health benefits The more active you are,
the more benefit you receive. Canada's Guide to Healthy
Active Living recommends that Canadians get a minimum
of 30 minutes of physical activity a minimum of 5 days
