2010 Dates For Regular Meetings Of Councill

Regular Meetings for the council of the Town of Lumsden will be held in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Office every second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm with the exception of July, August and December when the date of the meeting will be as follows:
               July 13th, 2010    August 10th, 2010      December 14th, 2010

All Council and Committee meetings are open to the public!

Committee Meetings

All meetings are open to the public.

Group I Committee Meetings – Meetings are scheduled for the 1st Monday of the month at 4 pm in Centennial Hall commencing March 1st.

Group II Committee Meetings – Meetings are scheduled for the 1st Thursday of the month at 3:45 pm in the Town Shop commencing March 4th

Joint Administration Committee Meetings –Joint Administration Committee Meetings – The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 16th at 7 pm in the Council Chambers.

Special Meetings

Group I Budget Meeting – A budget meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 2nd at 4 pm in the Council Chambers.

Group II Budget Meeting – A budget meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 1st at 7 pm in the Municipal Office.

Long Term Borrowing

Short Term Borrowing Bylaw

Please take notice that council will be considering a short term borrowing bylaw at their regular meeting scheduled for Monday, February 8th commencing at 8:00 p.m.  The amount of the short term borrowing bylaw is $250,000 and is required to meet the short term operating and capital expenditures of the Municipality until the taxes and grants receivable for the current year are available.  If you would like a copy of the Short Term Borrowing bylaw, you can contact the municipal office at 731-2404 or email: town.lumsden@sasktel.net.
