The
present All Saints' Church was originally built in the
Condie district in the late 19th century. This was moved
to its present site in 1948 to replace the deteriorated
1904 building. The first service in the new church was
Harvest Festival October 11, 1948. All Saints is part
of Plain and Valley Parish which includes congregations
in Pense, Regina Beach and Kennell.
Our
many Parish fundraisers help make us a close church
family.
We
welcome all newcomers for worship services.

St.
Peter's started as a mission of Holy Rosary Cathedral
of Regina. The present church was built in 1957 and
the former church, now next door, became the church
"hall" and is used for meetings, religious
instruction, and coffee hour after Mass. Mrs. Helga
Palko, a parish member and a professional artist living
in town at the time, designed the art on the front of
the church. In 1999 a stained glass window designed
by David Johnson of Tyvan was installed as the millennium
project.
The
annual St. Peters Snowflake Bazaar, a parish fundraiser,
is held each year on the first Saturday after November
1st.

Ripplinger captured the image of children on the "church
hill" in Lumsden.
Our
talented choir just hosted their 10th "Festival
of Carols". Other groups active in our church are

ST.
MICHAEL'S RETREAT, established in 1962, is owned by
the Franciscans of Western Canada and operates through
an Interchurch Board from our Roman Catholic, Anglican
and Lutheran communities. The Retreat overlooks the
beautiful Qu'Appelle Valley, about 30 km. northwest
of Regina, just off Highway #11 but access is through
the Town of Lumsden. St. Michael's provides a year-round
haven for a variety of individuals and groups who use
the centre for workshops, meetings and retreats which
may be spiritual or business.
Our
warm hospitality and excellent cuisine have become legendary.
Our artwork is beautiful and the atmosphere is wonderful.
Visitors
are very welcome to tour the facility.
